United Kingdom and European Union compliant Privacy Policy

Projekt 7 Limited (T/A Projekt 7 Construction) [hereafter referred to as Projekt 7  believes that protecting individual privacy is very important. This Online UK and EU Privacy Statement is designed to inform you about our online collection and use of personal information. From time to time, Projekt 7 Limited may modify this Online  Privacy Statement to maintain its status in regard to the laws of variously enacted by the United Kingdom, England and Wales. The EU GDPR is an EU Regulation and it no longer applies to the UK. Projekt 7 complies with the Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA 2018) which has been given EU 'Adequacy' status.  Adequacy’ is a term the EU uses to describe countries, territories, sectors or organisations it deems to have an “essentially equivalent” level of data protection to the EU. The provisions of the EU GDPR have been incorporated directly into UK law as the UK GDPR. In practice, there is little change to the core data protection principles, rights and obligations. 

The first section of this policy explains what information we collect when you use the Projekt 7 website www.projekt7.london why we collect this and how we protect this information. The second section explains Projekt 7’s general policies towards protecting information.

By using this website you signify that you have consented to our collecting and using the personal information that you provide to us in accordance with this privacy policy. You will also be deemed to have read understood and accepted this privacy policy.

What information does Projekt 7 collect and why? 

This policy applies to all information Projekt 7 receives from you, whether you are registering on our website or ordering any of our products. During the course of your use of this website, Projekt 7 will collect two types of information:


1. Website Usage Information – This website uses Google Analytics to automatically gather certain statistical information such as the number and frequency of visitors and IP addresses. This information is used as aggregated statistical information about users, providing usage by IP address. Individual users cannot be identified from this type of data. This information helps us to measure how individuals use the website and our services, so that we can continually improve them.

Personal Information – Projekt 7 requires sometimes requires personal or corporate information from you, such as name, e-mail address, telephone numbers, fax numbers, bank details and credit card data in order for us to perform the services offered by Projekt 7 to its clients. Some of this information is voluntary; the compulsory fields are clearly identified whenever you are asked to supply information. On occasions, Projekt 7 may also collect additional information from you on a voluntary basis.

This personal information may be used in a number of ways:

  • Identifying potential new customers and subscribers
  • Detecting and preventing fraudulent activity
  • As part of the account opening process for new customers, to verify your identity
  • We may also use the information for making a  credit check on you and may share it with third parties to protect ourselves against fraud. We may carry out a search with a Credit Reference Agency who will keep a record of our enquiry against your name. We may use a credit scoring or other automated decision making system when assessing your application. Details of which credit reference agency we have used are available on request.
  • Providing you with the service that you have requested.
  • We may from time to time send promotional e-mails to you with information about our products and services. If you would like to receive such information please click on the “I agree” button when prompted to do so. We may also contact you via post, e-mail or telephone in relation to the administration of your account or to provide a service you have requested.
  • We may access and disclose personal information about you if you breach this privacy policy, and/or fail to  comply with applicable laws, court orders and lawful government requests, to operate our systems properly or to protect ourselves and/or our other users.
  • We reserve the right to license or sell the database related to this website (including personal data relating to you) to a third party if we sell, assign or transfer the assets of our business.
  • We take all reasonable precautions to ensure that outside parties or affiliated companies are aware of our privacy policy and that they will treat the personally identifiable information in a similar manner. We cannot, however, be responsible for how such outside parties or affiliated companies use your personal information.

Data Retention 

Projekt 7 will retain the information for as long as it  reasonably considers necessary for the purposes listed above. Once we have processed your transaction, we will only retain your full credit card data if you have asked Projekt 7 to do this, to make it easier for you to use our services. No charges will be made without the express authority of the card holder at any given time except those in keeping with any existing contract or agreements that you have entered into with Projekt 7 under our terms and conditions. 


Use of Cookies 

The Projekt 7 website may use cookies and by using the website you agree and consent to their use.

Within Projekt 7, access to personal information is limited to those employees of Projekt 7 and its affiliates who need it to fulfil their business responsibilities. Vendors and other outside contractors we engage are subject to contractual requirements to ensure personal information is safeguarded. We will disclose personal information in response to a lawful request issued by a court, government agency or regulatory authority with jurisdiction to make that request.


4. We strive to give individuals choices about how their data will be used.

When we obtain personal information as part of our direct relationship with individuals, we will not share this information with non-affiliated third parties except in accordance with these Privacy Principles.


5. We respect individual’s rights in relation to direct marketing

Where Projekt 7 engages in any form of direct communication with individuals for the purpose of marketing of Projekt 7 products or services, we will ensure that procedures are in place to stop the direct marketing at the individual's request. All electronic communications will comply with legislation governing unsolicited communications; where required, Projekt 7 will obtain consent before sending direct marketing material.


Information Security: How We Protect Your Privacy.

Projekt 7 is committed to implementing the highest standards of information security to protect the privacy and confidentiality of your personal information. We limit access to your personal information to authorized Projekt 7 employees. We also maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect the information against loss, misuse, damage or modification and unauthorized access or disclosure. Some of the other central features of our information security programme are:

  • A dedicated group - the Information Security Department - that designs, implements, and provides oversight to our information security programme;
  • The use of specialized technology such as  firewalls;
  • Testing of the security and operability of products and services before they are introduced to the Internet, as well as on-going scanning for publicly-known vulnerabilities in the technology;
  • Internal and external reviews of our Internet  sites and services;
  • Monitoring of our systems infrastructure to detect weaknesses and potential intrusions;
  • Implementing controls to identify,   authenticate and authorize access to various systems or sites;
  • Protecting non-public communications through  encryption or other means; and

We hold ourselves accountable under our Privacy Principles 

A senior Projekt 7 official serves as the company-wide privacy officer, with responsibility for administering the Projekt 7 privacy programme, including implementation of these Privacy Principles and for ensuring that Projekt 7 complies with applicable UK and EU laws and regulations concerning the collection, use and storage of personal information. The Data Compliance Officer, working closely with individual subsidiaries, is responsible for:

  • Overseeing employee privacy training and  employee compliance programmes related to this Online Privacy Statement
  • Conducting periodic assessments of Projekt 7 compliance with this Online Privacy Statement, as well as specific implementation of  policies and procedures
  • Ensuring that Projekt 7 actively participates in appropriate privacy activities and regularly reviews its privacy practices and policies.


Projekt 7 Privacy Principles guide us in the collection and use of information and reinforce the role our employees play in protecting individual privacy.


Updating the Privacy Policy 

To keep up with the  evolving UK laws , we reserve the right to amend this privacy policy from time to time and, if we do so, your continued use of the website will be taken as acceptance of any such change. Therefore, we advise you to check this policy on a regular basis. If we change or modify our privacy policy we shall post these changes on this page.
